You need
- Cling film;
- 300g digestive biscuits;
- 100g unsalted butter;
- 100g chocolate (dark or milk);
- 300g condensed milk;

Step by step
- Put the biscuits into a large freezer bag, seal and crash them with a rolling pin until you have a bag of rubble (but not dust).
- Tip the chocolate and butter into a medium-sized heatproof bowl and melt over a pan of simmering water (make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water).
- When the mixture is smooth add the condensed milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla (optional). Keep stirring for 2-3 minutes.
- Add a bit of porto (optional) and leave to cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the nuts, berries (optional), and crashed biscuits to the chocolate mixture. Stir with a spatula to thoroughly combine.
