Max, if you feel lost, here are some great links to YouTube videos explaining and showing basic cooking skills. There are a lot of different videos out there but I somehow prefer Jamie Oliver’s. I hope you will find them useful.
Remember what Jamie says: “Regardless of how quick I go it makes no difference to what I do. The reason I don’t cut myself is because at all times, forever, my fingers are no way near the blade”.
Your kitchen
This is a list of items you must have in your kitchen if you cook at home regularly. Utensils
