You need

  • Large non-stick pan

Ingredients

  • 1 large just ripe banana;
  • 1 tsp coconut oil;
  • 1 tsp runny honey;
  • 1 tsp chia seeds;

method

Step by step

  • Cut the banana in circles.
  • Heat the non-stick pan over medium heat and add the coconut oil (or butter).
  • Add the banana slices and honey (you can replace honey with one teaspoon of sugar) and cook until they are golden brown.
  • After a couple of minutes flip them over. They are cooked very quickly so be careful not to burn them.
  • Sprinkle the bananas with chia seeds when serving. I also add a bit of pomegranate molasses for a sweet & sour touch.
