
Fried bananas by @recipesformax
When it is raining outside and you are looking for a treat… A healthy treat.
You need
- Large non-stick pan
Ingredients
- 1 large just ripe banana;
- 1 tsp coconut oil;
- 1 tsp runny honey;
- 1 tsp chia seeds;
Step by step
- Cut the banana in circles.
- Heat the non-stick pan over medium heat and add the coconut oil (or butter).
- Add the banana slices and honey (you can replace honey with one teaspoon of sugar) and cook until they are golden brown.
- After a couple of minutes flip them over. They are cooked very quickly so be careful not to burn them.
- Sprinkle the bananas with chia seeds when serving. I also add a bit of pomegranate molasses for a sweet & sour touch.
