
Pickled carrots by @recipesformax
Pickled carrots is a great side dish for any type of meat. This recipe is quite easy, the only tedious thing to do is to peel carrots with a julienne peeler. Leave your container in a fridge overnight and it will be ready for your next lunch or dinner.
You need
- Julienne peeler;
- Container;
- 500g large carrots;
- White vinegar (50 ml), olive oil (3o ml);
- 1/2 garlic bulb (crushed);
- Salt (1/2 tsp), sugar (1 tsp);
- Seed mustard (1 tbsp), chilli (to taste, optional);
- Peel the carrots trying to make strings as long as possible.
- Mix the vinegar, oil, salt, sugar, mustard, and chilli and add it to the container. Stir or shake it well.
- Leave it in the fridge overnight.
